According to such regulation woods based packaging products such as plywood, particle board, oriented strand board or veneer that has been created using glue, heat and pressure or a combination thereof should be considered sufficiently processed to have eliminated the risk associated with the raw wood.

Heat treatment, Methyl bromide fumigation, and Marking should be done in accordance to above mentioned FAO regulation.
In order to aware exporters for cargoes bound to Argentina, in the case that for local authorities marking and declarations are doubtful can require importers locally to be provided from origin with the correspondent certificates.

According to new regulations ( Resolucion general 2396 ) , as from March 17 th all freight forwarders / Nvocc who need to issue ctnr unstuffing folder ( carpeta rosa OM-744/2 ) must inform Msc the Tax id. number - CUIT nbr ( Clave unica de identificacion tributaria ).

Furthermore you should inform your agents at origin to include " CARGA CONSOLIDADA " in cargo description in order that Msc Argentina manifests it in in this manner in the customs system ( Sistema Maria ) accordingly.
